Anthony Stampfer writes [8th June 2010]:

R A Stampfer was my father. I am in Los Angeles, and so on an eight hour time delay from UK. I celebrate his birth and life today, the 8th June, his Birthday. He was a wonderful man in a quiet and modest way that many people were unable to see.

If I can come anywhee close to matching his modesty, generosity, dedication to family and clear sense of ethics, i will be proud.

I love you Daddy, and thank you for making MY life possible

Your loving son

Tony
