The Corps of Royal Engineers

 

1985176 Enlisted in 1939 until 1946. He was in the invasion in 1944 building bridges over the River Seine, where he was injured with both legs broken and bullet wounds. Will be sadly missed by his wife Doreen, son Bill and daughters Geraldine and Amanda and all his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

The Royal Engineers Association was formed under the conditions of a Deed of Declaration of Trust by the amalgamation of the original Royal Engineers Association and the Royal Engineers Benevolent Fund Ltd on 19 November 1968.
