
2191959 Aged 71 Was an all round sportsman, a Regimental, Corps and International hockey player. Sadly missed by his family and friends. Life Member of the REA Brighton Branch.

I use to play centre half behind John with the Royal Engineers team. I believe that he was the best centre forward in the country at that time. The team had an outstanding record.

Thanks to whoever put my fathers name on here. Yes sadly missed , getting near the end of the Glaskins now, my two boys and there parteners dont seem to want kids yet. I still have all my dads hockey and R.E. ties and his cap badge . Can I donate them ( with a donation as well) to the REA. The Royal Engineers Association was formed under the conditions of a Deed of Declaration of Trust by the amalgamation of the original Royal Engineers Association and the Royal Engineers Benevolent Fund Ltd on 19 November 1968.
