Appreciation For Robert Thomas Ashmore By Diane Ashmore
My Dad was extremely proud to have served in the Royal Engineers during WWII, and learned many life skills from his experiences. I would like to thank Mike Nottage and Mick Payne from the Reading & West Berks Branch, for their visits to Dad, and giving him a new lease of life. He is sadly missed by me and my sister, Pat, and Dad's remaining sisters Joan and Ivy.
