Mum was born in Croydon, settled in North Wiltshire, and passed away 01/01/2010 at the Bupa Care Nursing Home, Market Lavington; having suffered 5 strokes in 3 years and eventual death due to Cerbalvascular Disease. Mum supported the work of the FFC, to thank the fire service for helping me in an nasty RTA in 2004 which required the help of the Air Ambulance. Following her funeral a donation, in her memory, was accepted on the behalf of the charity by WM Richard Lake at Devizes Fire Station. Mum was attached to the RAF during WW2, where she and my late father met. Following the war Mum and Dad farmed in Wiltshire, Mum was a gentle lady, a homemaker, enjoyed her garden and looking after her numerous Jack Russell Terriers, she supported Dad in his passion for spending weekends doing Moto Cross. Mum is remembered for spending many years knitting baby clothing for the Premature Baby Units in Devizes and the RUH. Thank you to the FFC for appreciating Mums support and inviting me to make this dedication to her. Pam Chivers-Trevett FFC Volunteer since March 2006

TIME MAY PASS, BUT TREASURED MEMORIES OF CHERISHES MOMENTS REMAIN MY EVERLASTING COMFORT. Still missing you deeply Mummy! After a LENGTHY period of Probate, I'm now able to take your ashes home, on Thurs 7th Oct, to the churchyard where we buried Daddy 26 years ago - to be with him once again. The tranquil village Where you both met, where you were both stationed at the nearby airfield during WW2, later married and then moved to a near-by village and the, now Grade 2 listed, chocolate-box cottage which became home where you farmed and where I was born and raised - surrounded by lotsa love, and many animals. I intend to celebrate you and Dad being such great parents by having lunch, after the burial, at the pub where you both enjoyed many a drink. Cheers Mum!
