Sub Office Cyril Read was a popular Woburn man whom work on the Bedord Estate as Woods Manager, and was a prominent member of woburn staion for 32 years of loyal service, he also was very active in rasiing funds for the Benevolent fund (now F/Fcharity)wining county trophy for most amounts raised in Bedfordshire, sadly he passed away 4 th july after a term illness, leaving wife Margeret,(after 50 years of marriage)son,Daughter, son in law , and his loving grandchildren Zoe & Mellisa.
