Waddell, Eileen Audrey. January 22, 2012. Suddenly at hospital, late of Helens Bay. Beloved wife of the late J. Brian Waddell and dearly loved mother of Nicola, Jannine and Jon-Barrie. Service in Helens Bay Presbyterian Church today (Thursday) at 10.00 a.m. followed by private interment. Family flowers only please. Donations may be sent if desired to McMillan Nurses, c/o S. Clarke & Son Funeral Directors, 12 Court Square, Newtownards BT23 7NY. Always remembered by her daughters, son, sons-in-law David and Carl, daughter-in-law Alicia, grandchildren Orla, Finn, Lorcan and Zulema, also surviving sisters Anne and Frances.

Many happy memories of Audrey and the fun and laughter shared with Brian and her on Rugby weekends in Dublin, and on holidays in Aranmore Island.

We were proud to have them as our bridesmaid and best man in 1961.
Will be sadly missed.

Back in the late 1950's (before Brian and Audrey and Billy & Marzie got married) we had a mutual "motorsport" friend - Hector Graham (who held the record time for 7 years for Enniskerry Hillclimb).

For a few years Hector invited us to his home for a "Boxing Day" evening meal after we had been taking part in the Boxing Day Rally and out for most of the day in cold crisp conditions.
