Friends and Relations

Sgt Thompson was from Brookhill,Magheragall,Lisburn.He died in a mid air collision between 2 Blenheim bombers over the Bristol channel whilst testing the very early version of airborne interception radar.He was washed ashore 2 weeks after this collision, and now lies in the churchyard at Magheragall.He had a lifelong fascination for aircraft and studied at Lisburn Technical College.
