George was a Dispatch Rider.
He came in France in March 1916 with the 4th Divisional Signals Company
In April 1917, he fought during The Second Battle of Arras with the 1st Batallion of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment (Nr 30468).
In september 1917, he went to Ypres and fought with the RWR during Battle of Broodseinde.
He is a Missing and his name is on the Tyne Cot Memorial at Zonnebeke in Belgium.

The Royal Engineers Association was formed under the conditions of a Deed of Declaration of Trust by the amalgamation of the original Royal Engineers Association and the Royal Engineers Benevolent Fund Ltd on 19 November 1968.
